Drop Down Box or Form QuestionI have been using a very old program to do my webpages and auction ads and now I'm starting to have problems with it. I have a question that is driving me crazy.!!! In creating my auction ads, I have my own rating system for my items. I have the form done, which can be seen at http://www.pluscoinc.com/mybooktemplate-final.html. My problem is this, I have three places on my form for me to input information for each item. In doing this, I have to go find my XXX in the code and change it to the value I need represented there. This is going to be difficult, since I have 15,000 books to sell and many other items as well. I have many, many books that are like new and some going back to the 17th and 18th century, so that is the reason I created my own form. Somewhere, I found code where I could put a noneditable form (or drop down box) on this page and fill in my values from there, but these values would not be able to be changed by the viewer of the page. Can someone help me with this or did I imagine that this can be done. I really need to get on with project in a hurry. Thanks. |
