Re: MS Expression Web 2 Beta

biggrin Hey, hey I use EW too. I was afraid to say anything though, fearing that I would get flamed for using and liking a Microsoft product. But I really like it. It has helped us make the jump into CSS. I love the CSS tools and can't wait to see the improvements. I'll be definitely upgrading when the time comes.

This is a rumor but I hear that EW2 will in no way be an upgrade but a full stand-alone edition. Again, it's only a rumor.

I can't imagine MS forcing current EW users to buy a new copy at a full price. Time will tell.

The beta release has been coded to function until July 1st in which I believe a second beta will be released to finalize testing.
I am guessing it will be ready no earlier than fall.

Of course don't hold me to it. biggrin

Re: MS Expression Web 2 Beta

I doubt you won't be able to upgrade. Heck, I upgrade to EW from FrontPage 02 laughing

I'm not going to lie, I don't design in code view one hundred percent of the time, but I'm slowly weaning myself out of design view. I think EW has been very helpful in that process. I still rely somewhat on the UI but now I always finish up by combing through the code and making sure every thing is in it's place. I love how EW highlights the trouble spots, its really helping me learn to be a better builder.
