Okay, I don't know if there's a special trick or if it's just me, but how can I move an object just a little bit so it's pixel perfect? I am making a couple "text buttons" (kinda sorta...lol) and I want to move the text to the exact spot. If I'm working on a transparent background, I find that I can move it a whole "square", but moving it just a hair is impossible. Does that make sense? |

Remember I'm a photoshop virgin too - but this might do the trick - works for me depending. Enlarge the pic (with the scroll wheel, arrow, whatever, or however you have that set up), just enlarge it and blow up the pxs and then you can move in px increments. ---------------------------------------- Eric :~) Knowledge is Power |

Same thing for me Sue, I usually enlarge the pic as much as I can and then I can move the image/text over in smaller increments then if I just had it at 100% |

Okay, that makes sense. I'm used to Paint Shop Pro where I am able to move things as little or as much as needed without a problem. Thanks! |

Sounds like you have "Snap to Grid" on. Look in the "View" menu for "Snap" and "Snap to". You can also nudge the selected object a pixel at a time via the cursor keys with the "Move" tool selected. ---------------------------------------- Pavonis Mons | Listen of the week: "Residue of Desire" by Acumen |

By the way, they hotkey for the move tool is "V". If you learn the keyboard keys now, you'll thank yourself later. ---------------------------------------- Simple is better. |
