Hiya there guys, I'm just wondering if anybody here would be interested in helping out with my own personal web development project called "GameXtreme". The website is going to be a new Social Networking Website and Clan Ladder system specifically designed for gamers alike. What i'm after is a team of approximately 2 php programmers (Must be able to code OOP Style with knowledge of Zend Framework too!), a few web designers with extensive CSS/(x)HTML/AJAX (to keep the content & layout right) knowledge and possibly some Moderators. At the moment it will be unpaid but my main view is to generate some revenue from the project so that I can have some sort of income from it (wether it be from ads or what not). Below is a short intro to what GameXtreme is / will be when coded written from my own notes in my notepad. GameXtreme Plans Version 1.0 Introduction: GameXtreme (GXM) will be a social networking site dedicated to gamers. The software will be written using PHP, HTML, and AJAX with a MySQL backend database to store the details and settings of each user and also the script. Some features of the web application will include buddy lists which will allow the user to add friends, an integrated forum for discussion, real time web chat and lots more. Design: The aim of GXM's design will be to stay fresh and sophisticated without taking a long time to load. The layout will be designed in PHotoshop CS3 then coded in HTML + CSS (also some AJAX for form processing etc.) Coding: I (as in me) will be using an application called Aptana Studio to develop the application with OOPHP, HTML and AJAX. I am choosing this program because it is fast and easy to use it also has its own development server applications included in the software so that I can preview / debug my code effortlessly.
