help to set up a simple .asp form

Hi all,

I would like to add a very simple form to my webpage that has just two fields.

The first field should collect name, whilst the second should collect email address.
There must also be a simple 'send' button.

The whole layout should be adjustable so that it can fit into an area of my web page which is quite small.

I have read up on the subject and looked online for some help, but despite my experiments I can't get anything to work.

My hosting account uses Windows servers and is .asp enabled.

What I need is the html to place on my webpage, and the script to go on the server that processes the form information, plus some details of how I set it all up to send the collected information to an email address of my choice.

Can anyone here give me any simple examples of code that I could use?

P.S. The html must validate to xhtml1 strict.

Any assistance gratefully received.

Re: help to set up a simple .asp form

You should be able to find the answer to this question with a quick google search. I'm sure that there are quite a few free scripts or tutorials out there that could help you with this. Just search for "asp form mail" or something similar.
