It's a listing - not sure what the purpose it - Like Craigslist or something? And the first 5 or 'adds' that are listed, read a lot like many of the emails in my junk folder.....

And there are 103 validation errors - and that with lose doctype.

I also find the animations somewhat irritating - as I'm scanning over the page, I keep seeing 'flashes'.

What exactly are you looking for with your review request?

I get what you are trying to do here...To me the site seems to be lacking in a design feel to it. Look at www.buysell.com they have a obvious header / logo. Did you ever consider making a site based on css and divs instead of tables?
I'm a visual learner and found the following sites helpful

A great site I found on css/divs
-chris has a few great videos on how to mockup a site
