I had to play around with this further today... had a friend who insisted I have an actual online home for my screencasts. What I am doing (temporarily, at least), is linking to all of my videos in one page, and then each video opens in a modal javascript based window using jQuery/Thickbox (and using jQuery to embed the flash too.) At least for the moment (till my new site gets up and running fully, where they will have a dedicated spot on my site) I'll be putting any and all screencasts here: http://falkencreative.com/screencasts/ I still think i have some room for improvement, but I have started converting them all to .fla, so that should be easier for people to view than .mov. I'll need to look into compression/sizing options at some point in the near future too... ---------------------------------------- Benjamin Falk | student : designer : developer Twitter: falkencreative |

It's streaming - no initial download required. ---------------------------------------- Eric :~) Knowledge is Power |

Have you seen this (just saw it on CSS Tricks). http://wiltgen.net/objecty/ Found it here http://css-tricks.com/using-flash-and-staying-standards-compliant/ Good to know about Objecty for other media besides flash, but I love swfobject and the jQuery methods best. ---------------------------------------- "The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surroundings." -Okakura Kakuzo Save the developers<!> Maine Webworks |

If you figure out how to input alt content (in Objecty) let me know would you? But the JS was so big it made DW almost stop responding. ---------------------------------------- Eric :~) Knowledge is Power |
