Yea I think requiring an avatar/face is a bit extreme... and what use is it if they can post any ones face. I do not use avatars in those places I do not post often in and Accessify does not have avatars at all which is fine too, cuts down on server wear. Another idea would be a trusted user type of group. When we think the user is OK, regardless of how many posts, we stick them in there and editing and live links are on. If they disapoint us we move them back out. Question two, banned members. Is that name blocked then? Here I never ban people, I just change the password and label them spammers so they are locked out of that name. |

In the new forum you can change their names, block them and unblock them. What's really cool is that you can select a member and delete them along with all their post!
