shock TIP - Quick Fix for Dark Photos

The best way (IMO) to improve dark images is to use the LEVEL's adjustment - NOT the brightness & contrast adjustment.

Image menu > Adjust > Levels... then drag the Middle slider to the left until all the dark detail is improved!

This does a similar thing to the Curves adjustment but seems to give slightly better results.

Does anybody agree/disagree ??
Are there better ways than this ??

Re: TIP - Quick Fix for Dark Photos

I've always used levels for this over anything else. Works very well and simply!
