Let's go over a few key points / rules about the forums:

This is an easygoing group nerds and a great place to learn (about web design etc) and meet other people interested in all things web. The forums are not just about serious discussions - look around and you'll see what I mean.

NO SPAM OR COMMERCIAL ADVERTISEMENTS
Killersites.com is a help site for web designers - not a place to promote products! If you would like to show a product / service, you can contact me using the forum's private message feature or you can email me and I will consider your request.

BACKLINKS HAVE NO VALUE IN THIS FORUM - UNLESS YOU'RE AN ACTIVE CONTRIBUTING MEMBER
If you are looking for free backlinks, you're out of luck! This forum automatically inserts the 'no follow' attribute into links (makes them useless for the search engines) unless you have contributed at least 75+ post.

AND

Any blatant commercial post will be removed within a few hours by one of the moderators.

What is the policy of ranking visitors - when am I elevated from starnger status?

It might also be nice to change the names - if you are at all concerned about diplomacy! I feel a little offended to be a stranger - surely a potential friend, is far more appropriate :P

While I don't mind the system in place now, I think there should be higher levels than "Advanced Member." Maybe at 500, 1000, and 2000.
