A new feature to the board: every member now has their own private mailbox!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once you join the forum, just go into your profile (select > My Profile in the main navigation bar) and then select 'My Private Message' in the top menu.

In there, you will find an MS Outlook like screen were you can check for messages etc?

You can easily send a private message to someone by going into his or her profile and then select the 'send private message' button. Or you can do it with your own 'My Private Message' area of the forums.

You can also Message them direct fro the thread at the bottom of their posts.

Might I also note that this is really "Private", if you want to ask private questions etc., Please keep actuall web design questions etc on the thread so everybody has something from it. Thanks.

I may forget to check for private messages, especially if I never get many.

Is the only way of knowing if I have any new messages through "My Profile", or will I be notified as soon as I view the forum?
