Website Review Policy Updates
Hi,

We still get spammers and they slip through. I caught a thread and the site in question was some sort of debt consolidation site .. please.

New Policy for Moderators:


  • Once a site is reviewed (moderators use your judgement,) delete any reference to the URL in the messages and close the thread.
  • Commercial sites are not to be reviewed unless the request is from a known member of our community.


When we let fake web site review requests slip through, it diminishes the forum.

At times, someone's site has been discussed, but by the time I look, the URL is gone. would it work if, instead of deleting the URL, the moderator would just change it with spaces - or such,. to throw off searchers, but enough to those who might want to see what it's all about could manually enter the address?
