CSS Resources www.w3.org/Style/ The World Wide Web Consortium's site is the best starting point, full of up-to-date links to specifications, tools, articles, tutorials, discussion groups, etc. www.htmlhelp.com Highly recommended, this site features an excellent CSS reference, an online CSS "Lint" (debugger/coach) together with help for writing the syntactically valid, non-visually-oriented kind of HTML that CSS was designed to complement. www.mcp.com/hayden/internet/style/table.html Before pulling your hair out over some CSS feature that doesn't seem to be working, refer to this table to see whether your browser implements it. news:comp.infosystems.www.authoring.stylesheets sheets A newsgroup devoted to web style sheets, which at this point means CSS. It may eventually mean something called DSSSL, too, but that's another story. Cascading Style Sheets - Designing for the Web by Hkon Wium Lie and Bert Bos (Addison-Wesley 1997) is a thorough explanation of the standard and its place in the larger scheme of the Web - written by the two lead architects of CSS. |
